Configuring microsoft office 2013 free -
A few months later, it didn't work and it asked to "Activate Office" with Product Key. Since I am away, I didn't have that on me and somehow it went away and it started working again.
Yet again, this week, every time I try to use Office, Word, PowerPoint, etc it tries to configure, then it says "Microsoft Office Professional Plus configuration did not complete successfully".
Then, another window "Microsoft Office can't find your license for this application. A repair attempt was unsuccessful or was cancelled. Microsoft Office will exist now. Was this reply helpful? I tried your recommendation, It didn't start configuration when I chose Administrative mode; it only asked if I want "30 days trial, buy office now, or enter my product key". Which I have left back home and dont have access to it I would love to laugh at this, but im in school and have many assignments to submit.
I can still use online office but that would be only temporary. Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community.
Search the community and support articles Install, redeem, activate Microsoft and Office Search Community member. It's not even asking for the product key anymore, so how can I verify I have the license! Online, it seems that alot of people have this problem with no proved solution. When an office application starts, it checks the registry to see if that Office bundle, ie Office , is registered as default in Windows. If it is not, then the configuration process is triggered. One cause for this message is when you have applications from 2 different versions installed. Another cause is an issue in Windows does not allow that configuration to be saved to your windows profile.
